Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens
This 65-room Manor House is the breathtaking former estate of Goodyear Tire & Rubber co-founder F.A. Seiberling and the largest historical estate in Ohio. This beautifully preserved home, located in Akron, is one of America’s finest examples of Tudor Revival architecture. Construction began in 1912, and the family moved into the home in December 1915. Nearly 95% of the furnishings are original to the estate. On the 70 acres, there are also 10 fully restored gardens and other historic buildings, like the Gate Lodge, where Alcoholics Anonymous was founded.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP)
The only national park in Ohio runs through Summit County. The CVNP encompasses nearly 33,000 acres of beautiful views and over 125 miles of trails. Ohio experiences all four seasons in full, so CVNP always has something to offer. Fall is one of the most popular times to visit, as the foliage throughout the park is breathtaking. Summit County is home to three different waterfalls, which all reside within the park. Brandywine Falls is the largest, at a 60-foot cascade. What makes the CVNP even more unique is the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad–a fully operational train that provides scenic views of the park.

Architecture
Akron is filled with stunning buildings and eye-catching architecture. Structures range from Tudor Revival and Italian Renaissance to Georgian Gothic and Art Deco styles. The Akron Civic Theatre, opened in 1929, is one of five remaining atmospheric theaters in the United States for facilities of its size. Its interior emulates a Moorish garden under a starlit sky, complete with Mediterranean décor. The Huntington Tower stands as Akron’s tallest building and is a 27-story Art Deco skyscraper. The Akron Art Museum integrates an 1899 Italian Renaissance Revival building—originally the city’s main post office—with a striking contemporary addition. The former Goodyear Headquarters has over five million square feet of space, including a bank, boardrooms, a gymnasium, and an auditorium. These architecturally significant sites, along with the city’s brick alleyways and vintage storefronts, offer versatile and authentic settings for a wide range of films.
