Why shoot here? Because Palmdale literally picks up part of the tab—on beds and permits—so you can put more of your budget on-screen.
- Available incentives for productions filming in Palmdale:
- Weekend hotel reimbursement: 100% reimbursement ($6,000 max)
- Weekday hotel reimbursement: 50% reimbursement ($4,000 max)
- Permit fee reimbursement: $2,000 max
- 25% hotel reimbursement: $3,500 max for qualified productions filming outside Palmdale city limits
- 17 participating hotels: A range of local accommodations and amenities for cast and crew
- $150,000 in annual incentive funding: Available first-come, first-served while funding last
